Turn any USB keyboard into a dedicated soundboard. All the soundboard features you could imagine — in one app.

SoundLord turns any USB keyboard into a dedicated, physical soundboard. Not an overlay you have to alt-tab into, not a clunky browser tab — a real board with real keys under your fingers. Plug in a second keyboard, drag your sounds onto the keys, and every meme, jingle and drop is one keypress away while your main keyboard stays completely untouched. The audio pipeline is kept permanently warm, so playback is instant — even after hours of idle. No drivers, no admin rights, no setup wizard.
SoundLord was designed around the stream. Connect it to OBS and trigger scene switches right from your board. React to chat in the same instant the moment happens — because a soundboard that needs two seconds to fire is a soundboard that killed the joke. A good soundboard doesn't just play clips, it levels up the whole stream — and the full OBS toolkit sits on your keys: switch scenes (with auto-switch-back on key release), take screenshots, mute your audio and toggle recording, all without ever leaving the game.
Plug in a second keyboard, set the device filter on it, and you've got a dedicated, physical soundboard/streamdeck — while your main keyboard stays completely untouched. Or skip the second board and run it on your main keyboard with shortcuts.
Audio pipeline stays warm with our silent heartbeat system. Sounds trigger instantly, even after hours of idle.
Your clips become sets. Arrange sounds on a BPM-synced grid across ten lanes — flip on Use Board Sounds and your whole soundboard becomes the instrument. Cut, fade and loop your arrangement, record straight into it with your mic or the built-in piano, and let the metronome count-in keep every take tight. Undo/redo has your back. When the loop sounds right, export the whole mix as a single sound and drop it back onto a key. Intro jingles, hype loops, custom donation sounds — no DAW required.
Assign any audio file to any key. Support for MP3, WAV, OGG, FLAC. Create multiple profiles and switch on the fly.
No admin rights. No extra software. No setup. Plug in your keyboard and it just works.
Every sound tuned per key: volume, pitch, play mode (normal or spam), hold-to-loop with fade-out, cut & fade editing — plus 10 audio effects from echo and reverb to distortion and ping-pong delay.
Small install size. Runs in the background with minimal resource usage. Two engine modes and an adjustable audio pool let you dial performance in perfectly for your PC.
9 animated backgrounds — from ASCII fire to liquid shaders — 24 accent themes that recolor the whole app live, and full light & dark mode.
Clone whole soundboards or single sounds from a huge, ever-growing library — hand-made boards plus community uploads keep it insanely deep, across every category from meme packs to full streamer setups. One click clones a complete board onto one of your profiles.
25 iconic instruments played straight on your keyboard — octaves fully adjustable. Record it directly into the Mixer.
Download the installer, run it, and SoundLord starts automatically. No admin rights needed.
Plug in a second USB keyboard. Open Settings and select it as your soundboard device — or use your main keyboard with shortcuts.
Drag audio files onto keys or use the sound library. Press a key on your soundboard keyboard and hear it instantly. For a quicker start we recommend cloning a ready-made soundboard from Templates.

Every tab explained — what it does, what you can do with it, and the tricks that aren't obvious. Jump straight to a topic:
The Board is a live view of your keyboard — every key is a slot for a sound or an OBS action. Assign, tune and trigger everything from one screen, watch every sound play out live on the keys, and switch whole boards via profiles mid-stream.
Every key carries its own volume and pitch slider right on the cap — tune each sound without opening a menu. The master volume bar below the board scales everything at once.
Click + on any key to pick a sound from your library, or drag audio files straight from Explorer onto an empty key. Drag sounds between keys to move them, drop on an occupied key to swap, hold Ctrl to copy.

While a sound plays, its key dances: live frequency bars and an animated sound line show exactly what's playing where. The header shows FPS, GPU and CPU load, so you always know what SoundLord costs your stream — spoiler: almost nothing.
Keys can trigger OBS instead of audio: switch scenes (with auto-switch-back on key release), take screenshots, mute your audio, toggle recording — all without leaving the game.
The spacebar is one giant panic key. Three switchable modes: Off kills all sounds, Break pauses them, Mute silences without stopping. Hold-to-loop sounds are caught too.
Up to 30 profiles hold completely separate boards — switch them with hotkeys mid-stream. Set All applies one setting to every key at once instead of clicking through 80 keys.
Plug in any USB keyboard and it appears here instantly. Select it as your soundboard device and SoundLord captures its keys globally — in-game, in Discord, everywhere — while your main keyboard stays completely untouched.
Every connected keyboard shows up with its hardware ID. Set the filter on your second board and only its keys trigger sounds — your main keyboard types like nothing happened.
Raw-input capture works without drivers, without admin rights, without any extra software. Plug in, select, done.
The panel shows every keypress live with its scan code, so you can verify the filter grabs exactly the right device before you go live.
Unset the filter and run the board on your main keyboard with shortcuts instead — every feature works the same.
Every sound you own lives here. Drop files in and they're instantly playable — no conversion, no waiting — and everything you record with your mic lands here too, ready to be dragged onto a key.
Drop MP3, WAV, OGG, WebM, FLAC or M4A files into the library — or a whole folder at once. They're ready to assign the moment they land.
Star your go-to sounds as favorites, search the whole collection instantly, and click any entry to audition it before it ever touches a key.
The built-in recorder captures your microphone straight into the library with a live level meter: record a line, hit stop, and it's a sound like any other.
Unlimited local sounds on every plan. Your files stay on your PC — the cloud is optional, never required.
Open any key's settings and shape exactly how it fires — play behavior, pitch, trims and a full per-key effect chain. Every setting lives on the key, so two keys with the same sound can behave completely differently.
Normal restarts the sound on re-press; Spam stacks plays on top of each other — mash the key and every press fires simultaneously.
Keeps the sound looping while the key is held and fades it out on release — with an adjustable fade-out time. Perfect for ambience, sirens and crowd loops.

Pitch-shift from 0.5× to 2× per key, and let the automatic BPM detection tell you what tempo a clip runs at — handy before it goes into the Mixer.
Echo, reverb, lowpass, highpass, distortion, compressor, chorus, tremolo, auto-wah and ping-pong delay — each with its own live parameters, per key.
Trim silence off the front or fade the tail directly on the waveform — drag the yellow line, confirm, done. Apply destructively or hit Save as new Sound to keep the original.
Don't start from zero. Templates are complete, hand-built soundboards — meme packs, game sounds, streamer setups — ready to clone. The fastest way from fresh install to a full board is under a minute.
Pick a template, pick a target profile, hit Clone: all sounds download, all keys map themselves. Your board is ready before your coffee is.
Want just one sound from a pack? Download it individually into your library instead of cloning the whole board.
The catalog grows constantly with house-made boards and community uploads — every upload is manually reviewed before it goes live, so no broken or junk packs.
A full three-octave piano played straight on your keyboard, 25 instruments deep. And everything you play can land directly in your Mixer loops — improvise a melody, keep the take.
The letter rows are the white keys, the number row the black ones — three octaves under your fingers, and the octave range shifts up or down whenever you need more reach.
From piano, organ and harpsichord to strings, brass, marimba and tubular bells — one click switches the whole keyboard.

Every key can carry a library sound instead of a note, turning the piano into a second melodic soundboard.
What you play is captured directly into the Mixer as its own lane — improvise over your loop and the take lands in the timeline.
Ten lanes on a BPM-synced grid: build loops from your sounds, your voice, your board and your piano — then render the result back onto a key. No DAW involved.
Drag sounds onto the timeline and Snap to Beat locks them to the grid. Set BPM, time signature and bar count — the loop wraps around automatically.
Flip it on and everything you play on your soundboard lands in the timeline live — your whole board becomes the instrument, quantized into the loop.

Records your voice per loop pass onto its own lane — layer vocals, beatbox or ad-libs over the beat, take by take.
Use Piano adds an eleventh lane that captures your piano takes — stacking take after take without overwriting the last one.
The metronome with count-in keeps you tight, cut and multi-select tools clean up your clips, per-lane faders balance the mix — and full undo/redo means nothing is ever lost.
When the loop is right, one click renders the whole mix into a single sound you drop back onto a key — intro jingles, hype loops, donation sounds. Mix Inventory keeps your projects.
Wire SoundLord into your setup and make it look like yours — audio routing, global hotkeys, keyboard layouts and the entire look of the app live here.
Pick your output device, set the master volume, choose your recording microphone — all sound flows exactly where you want it.
Flip on Pass Audio to Mic: with a free virtual cable, your sounds play into Discord or TeamSpeak while you talk — SoundLord guides you through the setup and confirms when it's wired correctly.
Toggle the whole soundboard on/off or jump between profiles with configurable shortcuts — from anywhere, even mid-game.
Match the on-screen board to your physical keyboard: DE/EN key labels and multiple form factors, from 65% to full-size.
24 accent themes recolor the entire app live, 9 animated backgrounds from ASCII fire to liquid shaders run behind it, plus light & dark mode and toggleable sound bars on the keys.
Profiles export as a single ZIP — keys, settings and all sounds included — and import back the same way, so a full board moves to another PC in one file.
Sign in and your setup stops being tied to one machine — sounds and whole profiles live in the cloud and come down anywhere, conflict-safe.
Cloud Sync uploads your sounds and whole profiles. Manage your storage right in the tab: search it, load more, delete what you don't need.
On any other PC, one click pulls a complete board down — keys, settings, sounds — in one go. New gaming rig? Five minutes to full setup.
